Sommer Pro+ 2080 1HP Direct Drive Garage Door Operators

Sommer’s Pro+ 2080 Operator from Action Industries is a versatile garage door opener for doors weighing up to 1,100 pounds. Sommer Pro+ operators use a direct drive design with a traveling motor that glides silently on a fixed chain. Direct drive technology maximizes operator strength while minimizing moving parts and operator noise/vibration. The Pro+ 2080 has a 800 Newton or 1 HP equivalent motor that moves at up to 8.3” per second.

This operator uses a flexible separate control unit housing that can be installed virtually anywhere in the garage (front, rear, ceiling) within 16’ of the operator rail. Pro+ models by Sommer are ideal for installations with limited backroom or for retrofitting installations that were not wired for a garage door operator originally.

Security and Safety:

• 922.5 MHz radio controls with 128-bit encryption

• Positive push-back by the operator in case of attempted forced entry

• Optional buzzer and lock for additional security

• Continuously adjusted force curves for maximum safety and obstacle detection
