Sheaves & Straps

Sheaves & Straps are used on extension spring style garage doors. Sheaves are grooved wheels equipped with a bushing that spins on an axis to lift a garage door with wire rope. They act as a pulley block to transfer the pull of the springs to the bottom of the door. Each sheave comes with a U-Shaped metal strap with pre-cut holes for a simple installation or replacement of an existing garage door pulley system. Straps hook to the garage door spring and mount to the brackets on the wall to act as a heavy-duty fixed pulley. Our single sheave pulleys are made from high-quality stainless steel for long-lasting use.
