Linear MegaCode MDT-4B 5-Channel Block Coded Visor Transmitter

The Model MTD-4B 5-Channel Block Coded Visor Transmitter is designed to be used with five different channels, allowing you to control five different Linear access control products. This device comes equipped with five different color-coated buttons allowing easy access to each of your five channels. The front four buttons allow you to access channels 1-4, and a button on top allows you to access channel 5. The device also comes with a top button cover, as well as two lithium batteries, and a visor clip allowing for easy access from your car.

In order to prevent unauthorized gate access, each transmitter comes factory programmed with one of over 1,000,000 codes, basically eliminating the possibility of code duplication. Every receiver “learns” each specific code programmed to it in MegaCode format, which means that no unapproved person can gain access to this system by reprogramming a transmitter.

These transmitters also come preprogrammed to a subsequent series of transmitter ID codes, and when used with a Linear access controller, they can be remotely programmed into system memory by entering the first and last codes of the block into the system. In order to further customize the system, you are also able to use facility codes.
