This Spring Tensioner Assembly is specially designed to be compatible with 1-5/16 inch diameter axles. The tensioner is installed on one end of the door axle to further simplify the process, and allows precise fine tuning with precision increments of 1/8 turn. Quickly and easily adjust the tension on all garage door springs simultaneously from one end of the door. The cam tensioner bites into the axle helping to eliminate unwanted spinning during the initial loading or spring adjustment process.
