The Genie Residential Wall Mount Garage Door Opener is now available at authorized Genie garage door opener dealers. The all-new wall mount designed Genie garage door opener model 6170H-B eliminates the traditional rail and powerhead design. These wall mount models attach directly to the garage door's spring tube!

6170H-B Wall Mount Model Offers:

• A Cleaner Look – Eliminating the rail and opener from the ceiling brings a clean and open look to your garage. This opens up more room for storage or other purposes.

• Compact – The Compact design fits into tight side room spaces between the garage door track and the wall.

• Headroom – ideal for garages with overhead beam obstructions that prevent installing a traditional garage door opener.

Often referred to as a residential jackshaft garage door opener, the wall mount models also include the newest Genie garage door opener accessories. Featuring the wireless wall console 39902R, door lock 41149R and Bluetooth LED light fixture 41151R.

The model 6170H-B Features integrated Aladdin Connect smart garage capability that provides the ability to remotely monitor and control your garage door with your smart device from almost anywhere at any time. Since Aladdin Connect is built into the 6170 wall mount model garage door opener, you do not need to add any other hardware. It works in conjunction with your home router.

The 6170 also includes a battery backup! Getting in about out of your garage during a power outage has never been easier than when your Genie battery backup kicks in. This battery backup makes this model compliant with the California State Law SB-969, which requires all installed garage door openers in that state to have a battery backup.

• HI-LIFT – Capable of opening hi-lift doors up to 14 feet tall, 18 feet wide, or 180 square feet as long as they use drum models 400-54 or 5250-54

• VERTICAL LIFT – Compatible with vertical lift doors up to 14 feet tall, 18 feet wide, or 180 square feet using cable drum models 850-11 or 1100-18

• MAX DOOR SIZE – 180 square feet

• MAX DOOR WEIGHT – 850 pounds

• Torsion bar 1-inch in diameter (hollow or solid) made from 14 or 16 gauge tubular steel
