Storm Shield

Action Industries Storm Shield is a garage door threshold designed to make installation as simple as possible. While they have not been sent to be certified as ADA compliant, they do fall into the ADA guidelines for thresholds. Section 404.2.5 states that thresholds, if provided at doorways, should be a maximum height of 1/2 inch. The drawings above show the ½” height on each.
